There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thank you for that ..... it brought back some interesting memories :yikes: ... Shortly after I became a Cop ( at 21 ) I started seeing a very, very , very, genuine Italian girl ( chee Bella ) ... so after a few weeks She told me the FAMILY needed to see me and make sure I was good enough :bowdown:..... So I was invited to Sunday dinner, my GF told me to stop eating on Saturday, She said , She was concerned I might not be able to eat enough, and would cause very BAD feelings..... so I fasted .... Sunday arrives I find Her house in the Bronx ( near where the Godfather was made ) .... ( ominous eh! ) .... I meet few 100 of Her relatives, and we sit down in various rooms, including the garden to eat ..... shortly after , some more Relatives show up and there's very much to do from everybody .... The really BIG guys take off their jackets and ........... they are ALL " packing " serious Heat , some had Two .... Here I am ( with only one :lecturef_smilie: ) and worse I'm the only Cop there...:banghead::banghead::banghead: .... I took my GF aside and asked if they knew I was a Cop .... She assured me, only some of them, annnnnd they promised not to TELL.. OMG & WTF ...:gaah:.. I'm at a MOB dinner and :shemademe_smilie: ..... We never had another Date .... but I'll tell you that was the best Italian dinner I'll ever have .... and the Scariest.......PS the only guy who didn't take off His jacket was " THE DON " .....I can't tell you which one, I'm still afraid they might find if I told .:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: ..... Also this is not made up , I led a very interesting life in NYC ....... Mike :thumbup:

We also had dinner with a "Godfather" one evening in Las Vegas.
Back a few years ago. Went to the Italian restaurant at the Riveria.
It was empty except for Spouse and I. During our service, in came a guy dressed exactly the part. Shortly thereafter, a bevy of really pretty ladies arrived. They had a whole corner section and the wait staff was on them the whole time. He had a few of his guy friends along also. I was thinking bodyguards.
Spouse and I enjoyed the wonderful Italian supper, and got some extra entertainment (carefully watching the show). Spouse got her education that night. In more ways than one. After supper, we attended the Casino's "girlie" show. That was also an experience. The girls were dressed in skimpy "biker garb." :roflblack::roflblack: I prefer the feather costumes myself--but that's another story.
