• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Factory Two-Tone Paint?

NOT BRP PAINT

Mike,
Where'd you get the paint from? It DOES look nice! :2thumbs:
.....Actually it's from the auto parts store it's made by...VHT ( very high temp ) # SP 402...BURNT COPPER .....First I took it out and re-moved the gauges....not easy but if you turn the handlebars and wiggle it it will come out ....then you have to dis-connect the wires.....they only fit one way so you can't put them on wrong later..........then I cleaned the dash with soap and water ...dried it with hair dryer.........first coat was with plastic paint primer any light color will do............I did this because the VHT paint is for METAL and I didn't want to take the chance on going direct to plastic.........after it was dry i started with the COPPER.......go very slow with this ......very light coats and wait 15 min.between coats ( I'm not kidding about this ) at least three......wait 1/2 hr. then try a heavier coat .....be very careful this stuff will sag very very easy...............after another 1/2 hr apply a few coats of clear ......4 -5 - 6 the more you use the deeper it will look .....if you don't use the clear it will not match the COGNAC........I know this for a fact................And it looks as close to perfect as possible way better in person then in PICS.......Mike ..annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd it's only $ 8.49 per 12 oz. spray can
