• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We can provide pre-cut panels to create an effect like this or we can provide wrapping film to cover the complete panels for the same look as the photos.
All you have to do is determine what color you want your 2 tone to be.

Interesting..!!

there have been two toned but not that pattern or at that time... it is a nice combo..!!

Hi Gene,

Re: there have been two toned but not that pattern or at that time...

I seem to remember reading something about that pattern only being offered in Australia.

You can tell it is an Australian model by looking at the handlebars.

OH, YOU'RE RIGHT.... THEY DRIVE ON THE LEFT-HAND SIDE, SO THE GAS IS ON THE LEFT GRIP.... CORRECT? :roflblack:

This particular Spyder was listed on Ebay for awhile and also on the Minneapolis Craigslist for a period of time. I actually conversed with the owner when I was looking to buy 1. The guy who had it listed was the second owner and only put on 150 miles on it when he decided it wasn't for him. The original owner was a vet who had it modified with a hand brake. Evidently he was a disabled vet. I do not know why he sold it. I inquired to as the paint scheme and expressed my concerns that I didn't think it was original. ( I am sure it was never offered in that color combination). In the first email he assured me that it was original. In the second email he said he thought it was the original paint. Not quite as sure the second time. Anyway this bothered me and he was asking $13,500 for it. even though it only had 925 miles on it, it was still a 2010 model and for this area it was at least $2000 overpriced, maybe more. ( I ended up with a mint 2011 RSS with only 1730 miles on it for $11,000) I saw this last posted for $12,500 but it has since been deleted. Don't know if it got sold or he just gave up.

Hi SPYD3R

Yup, it is easy to find out this stuff if people would just look.

Australia and NZ have the throttle on the same side as all other countries, but it just means we can only wave at people walking down that side of the street :roflblack:

From the look of the Spyder above it has a mix of Quantum Blue and Pearl White Panels, both original CanAm Colours for a Spyder.

We've seen a dealer or two that would take 2 new Spyders of different colors and miss match the panels to end up with a two tone scheme. I always thought they looked good.

The above is true according to the last ebay listing. It appears it sold for 12,500 9/8/14.
I bought/won my pearl white 2014 RS SE5 with factory passenger backrest and 1600 miles for $11,300 on Ebay last week. I inquired about the two tone because it just feels too white.
Got to ride mine the first time today with it's new ISCI brake and kuryakan floorboards.

Brought back memories. I was on TDY to England. they told me to go drive a "lorry" to post the guard. they forgot to tell me, it was right hand drive and the floor shift still in the middle.I was aware of what side of the road to drive on.
