• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Factory Tour Was awesome!

BRP Factory Tour was best yet!!

I would like to express my 2 cents about BRP. I started out with skidoo in 1966 and first visited the museum in 1967 the year of the World's Fair in Montreal. I have visited the museum many times and have had at least 4 factory tours including the homeowners event in 2008. I must say that the tour I had on Friday was the best organized and the information that Pierre Beaudoin gave about the spyder assembly process was awesome. I have got to congratulate Eric Paulin for his warm welcome at the museum as our New York and New Jersey group was the first to arrive. Jim Nancy and I had mentioned that we loved the jacket he was wearing as it was a new style not in the BRP accessory catalog. He took the jacket off and said here Don you can wear it if you like. So needless to say I had it on for the rest of the tour. I only wish he had let me take it home with me. :) I sure hope BRP continues to offer these tours to spyder owners and to have Pierre be the tour guide as no one could have done it better. I have owned several seadoos, ski-doos and 4 spyders and I do believe that their their quality control and efficiency will continue to improve with their group meetings with fellow employees and spyder owners such as took place on Friday. I would like to thank Angelina, Giovanni, Benoit, and Steve Mansaur from BRP Customer Care for the warm reception and the photographer who took so many photos of our group. It would have been nice if they could put it on a cd for each of us as a slide show to remember the great time we had. I have a few pics in the link below of photos from the museum as we had to leave our cameras in the greeting room as no photos were allowed in the factory.

Great job on the photos Steve from the two tour days. Can't wait to see the 2000 or so pics from the professional photographer. You guys exceeded my expectations in the warm welcome you gave us and hope that you continue with the tours thru the factory and museum.:thumbup:

Got back home from the Monday tour late Monday afternoon.

Just want to add my thanks to BRP, Eric, Stephen, Rene and others for the fun and interesting tour they put up, the tour of the factory was very informative.

The lunch reception was fun.

A few pictures of the Spyders after arrival & after moving to a different part of the factory.

BRP raises the bar.

Just returned home from Mondays tour.1055 miles all told, as usual not a spec of a problem. I have been fortunate to tour many factories/assembly lines across the USA, almost all were "behind the scenes" type of tours given to VIP's. {By no means am I a VIP, just lucky enough to tag along!} The Spyder part of the tour rivals any I have been on. We couldn't have been any closer to the line, with information provided by the top guy, the Plant Manager himself. All questions were answered, even at the expense of BRP's image. VERY IMPRESSIVE. The only negative I took away from the great day was realizing how many different components are under all that plastic! ;) Way too many things under there that could go bad! Engineering at its finest! To all at BRP that made this a great day: Merci beaucoup!!
