• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F4 Windshield - need honest opinions re shorter height screen reducing buffetting?

I guess I am the odd ball here. I just purchased the 21" from Tmag. It looks great, but I am thinking I would rather have something in the 17"-19" range. I plan on getting a ride in Friday or Saturday and can report back. But at 6'-2" I just barely look over the top edge. We will see how this works. But I know that when things warm up, I will be going back to my stock shield
Well, I said I would chime in with my results on the 21". Yes, I do like the tint, and the height is just about right for me in the winter. It does a great job of blocking the wind, while allowing me to see over the top. I didn't have any issues with buffeting, but I do wish it was a bit wider for more protection, without having to purchase the wings. This will definitely be a touring, or winter shield for me. For the summer season, this would not allow enough wind for me, and I prefer my stock height shield for the looks and function. This would also be because I always wear either a modular or minimum of a 3/4 helmet. If I wore a 1/2 helmet, the 21" would be my choice year round. JMHO

Just add the side wings and it will be a year round windshield. They give you alot of air when needed. And block alot of wind when closed.
