There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. F4 Customs Windshield

As always Don products from F4 Customs windshield are excellent. I have a quick question for someone that installed the windshield in their F3. When I removed the original screw, it had a black rubber washer. Do I use the black rubber washer with the white bushing the windshield came with? Any suggestions will be appreciated. If I dont get an answer, I will contact Don office to ask. UPS delivered the windshield so late in the evening, and Don office was closed. Btw the tinted windshield looks great on my bike. See the pic below.

Wengerda, I suspect you need to be more model specific as that windshield and trike do not look like my F3-S? Supposedly, the F3 and F3-S according to Don cannot have the air vents due to the required curvature of the windshield <sob>.

I have an F3 Limited. The F4 Custom windshield fit perfectly, my question is do I also use the black rubber washer that came with the stock windshield. I know I have to use the white bushing that came with the new windshield. Not sure what do you mean this does not look like a F3. This is a 2016 Limited Special Edition. You are incorrect, the Limited can have the vent as my pic shows. Maybe you should contact Don for information on your F3 and model. Thank you.

The top part of your front fairing and plastic body-work is different than my 2015 F3-S which shares the same bodywork as the 2015 F3. The F3 Limited and some other model variants appear to have different hardware/tupperware on the trikes. Sadly, I wish I were incorrect for my F3-S and could have a vent but a detailed call to Don Frank resulted in being informed that there is no such luck for certain models in their lineup. I would love to have had it for increased airflow here in Florida on those hot muggy days we have in the Summer. You are fortunate apparently due to the design of your trike for Don to be able to incorporate an air vent.

Here is a front picture of my F3-S with an F4 windshield for comparison. Note the very different "top" you have on the front end than on mine.

Not sure what to tell you, but thank you. The new windshield fits perfectly with the vent in my 2016 F3L.

I just use the plastic ones they sent with the shield. But, you can double check and call Don or Alicia. Tom :spyder:

I just installed the same windshield and used both as the screws looked to be long enough. I have had F4 windshields on 3 Harley's, 2 Goldwings and a total of 4 Spyders, RT, 2 F3S and now an F4T. Have never had to replace a windshield due to being scratched. If you do a lot of riding this is the windshield to have.

F4Customs W/S

I have another post on this subject but my original had the black grommets (that were already starting to crack BTW and I've only had the machine a few mos) and a thin black metal washer...I pitched the plastic and used the washer between the screw head and the white grommet...no particular reason why other that i thought it might give the screw head a bit more to attach with...enjoy the W/S
