• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anybody installed one of these? No instructions came in the box and cant find any videos. I can probably figure it out but instructions or a video would be nice.

Thanks,
Dale

There is a youtube video on R&R of the trunk. Just go to youtube and enter 2017 F3 limited trunk removal. It should come up.

You'll also need to get your bike hooked up to BUDS for a software update...

It actually can be through the USB, but for some reason my dealer can't figure it out. In fact, they did something and now my entire electrical system is on the fritz. They offered me a loner to take all the way to Canada (that's how I know it's serious, my dealer NEVER offers loaners, especially to take on a long distance international trip). Needless to say, I declined and will miss homecoming. The top case has become more trouble than it's worth.

Oh my, hope they sort it quickly and properly!

I would have taken their loaner and had a holiday...

I was worried about taking a bike with dealer plates, registered to another owner, and insurance on another VIN all the way to the border just to be turned around.

You are correct - had this done yesterday - just wish I could hook the technician(s) and service center up to something for a re-boot/update.:banghead:
