• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3T front grill removal

Anyone had a chance to remove the front grill in the F3T. I am thinking about doing some mods and thought it would be easier if the grill was removed. Hopefully it will be a few easily accessed screws and out it comes?

Yep. only 4 screws, and it is easy to get on and off, I have done it a few times, amazing how many bugs etc get in there.
I put some LEDs in there and they provide a subtle light through the grill, I was hoping to paint the mesh behind the grill
blue as well, but patience isn't my strongest virtue ;) a lot of clips attached to plastic lugs to hold it on, I know for sure I
would break at least one hahaha

If you jack up the front about 7 inches you can sit in a armless office chair and remove them. The first time I was laying on the floor- Not great at 68?

The front fascia has 6 screws -4 in front and a push pin on bottom- 2 around the lower back sides that are a pain to get to?

Very easy, I removed mine at the 3000 mile service to clean and hose the radiators out. Was very clean, not bad all.

I really like the new setup. Since the radiators are turned sideways they don't pick up as much stuff from the road and are easier to blow through with compressed air from the outside with the grill off. Good bit of engineering there, BRP!

F3T Grill Won't fit back into the body tabs

The grill comes off real easy. I put some LED lighting in the back of that area and I cannot get the grill top tabs into those 4 body panel slots to save my life. The screw holes line up just fine. But, with the tabs not in the slots there is a ton of light leakage coming through the top of the grill and the body panel. Has anyone else had this issue? Ive been working on putting this back together for the last few hours. I'm at a loss.
