• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3T - First Ryde of th Year and PITA Tupperwarre!

Finally got a beautiful spring-like day in my area so I decided to go for my first ryde of the year on my 2016 F3T.

It's been on a battery trickle charger all winter, so the Tupperware between the windshield and frunk had been removed to accommodate the battery charger cable. I don't know if it's pre-season clumsiness, arthritis in my hands or something else, but I cannot re-install that PITA piece of Tupperware no matter what I do. :dontknow:

Can someone give me a clue on how to do it? And/or explain whether it's even necessary? I rode without it today and I don't really see why it even needs to be reattached. (Other than for looks and/or perhaps keeping the frunk contents dry when it rains?)

So what's that piece for and how important is it to re-attach it? If it's important, then how do you re-attach it?

Thanks!
Bert

Put some plumber's grease on the pins on the plastic piece. The item slides in and then down on each side. The pic shows removal, just do it backward.
