• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3S Turn Signal Indictor

I would like to mount two led turn indicators on the dash that would catch my eye
and say O.K., turn me off. To that end I chased down the wiring for the turns signals
and I am ready to do this. But my little brain ask how this would affect the factory
OEM indicator or a better question is would the OEM indicator keep all 3 indicators
flashing. I have tried chasing down the indicator wiring diagram without much luck. I tend to
think that there has to be some diodes somewhere in the harness to keep the OEM
signals straightened out.
Anyone with experience in this is welcome to jump in here and pass on your knowledge.
It would be much appreciated!!

Well....

I put LED green singles at each side of the dash to tell me the blinkers were on and which side. I simply tapped into the turn signal wires at each one. Right and left. If they are LED's keep the polarity straight and test before closing things up. As long as you maintain the stock bulbs in the turnsignals all will be good...

The left and right turn signals are powered and controlled directly from the gage cluster. Adding a couple of leds to each side will have likely no effect. If the extra current draw happens to cause hyper flash. There is a procedure to recalibrate it.
