• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3s trailering

Anyone towing a trailer with a F3s? If so what is your set up and what kind of trailer are you towing. What is your experience.

Nope. We don't trailer with an F3 as we have never owned an F3. As a hint, there is nothing particularly different between an F3 towing a trailer and all the other Can-Am Spyder models. You might get more responses if you asked on a more general forum.

Also, it might help to know what type of trailer you are interested in towing.

Camper, cargo or just a wooden box?

I've seen that video before. By the way, nice trailer. Just wondering how it tracks going down the highway?:yes::yes:

It tracks very nicely on the highway, goes exactly where it wants to go.:shocked::shocked:

I tow a kwik Kamp tent camper with mine and have an aftermarket hitch. It tows great. We just got back from a 2100 mile camping week out in the Sequoia National Park. I had no problems even in the wind. The main thing of course is the stopping distance. I had to hit the brakes good a couple times but it stopped without a problem. Going up the steep grades as well as going down really didn't affect the bike at all and I had plenty of power when I needed it. So yep, it tows great and I wouldn't have any hesitation on going any where with it. Cindy

I have a 2016 F3 Limited & tow my RT-622 with no issues. Just like when I had an RT Limited.......you just don't know it's even back there!!

I picked up a Mini Trailer at Spyderfest. I’m using the BRP hitch. Love the trailer - don’t really notice it. We hooked it up and I towed it around some of the twisty roads in southern Missouri before pulling it home (to Keller). My wife said she still had a tough time keeping up with me on the twisties, even though I was pulling the trailer. While I have the F3-T, my friend who bought my F3-S, got the same trailer. Prior to that, he was towing a trailer from Harbor Freight. The hitch and harness on the F3-S are from canamspyderaccessories.

F3S towing

I have a 2015 F3S and pull a 1986 bushtec. That I rebuilt and use a bushtec hitch, have pulled it over 1,000 miles and worked great did not change the bike ride at all, did drop mpg some but not much. Went through rain twisty roads and just fine. Jim
