I get a check engine message and yellow light randomly. It doesn’t store any codes, it comes on and goes off as I’m riding . It’s at a dealer for the front pulley recall and I asked them to check that. It is alerting on something that it doesn’t have so the dealer contacted BRP who evidently instructed them to troubleshoot other stuff it doesn’t have because they overlooked that it is a 2015. Something to do with the clutch system , they say . It’s been there three weeks. They seem competent so hopefully it will get fixed soon. Any thoughts on that?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Unfortunately the check engine light light is a default catch all.. any number of thing or combinations trigger it , usually a low battery or loose connection somewhere helps trigger other sensors. So it seems anyway, sometimes a load test-cleaning battery terminals, adding star washers & a good overnight (12-15h) top off charge help. Some code should be in history(with time stamp) dealer can see in Buds & how often occurs with whatever else possibly related or triggered at same time.
