• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here we go again! F3 will shift into first and then to neutral, but won't go past neutral. As a side note it will also shift into reverse using only the clutch and not the reverse button and clutch. Checked for codes and it showed no active faults! Anybody had this issue?

Chuck
With all the issues you have been having thinking u need to open a case with BRP

OR GET RID OF IT.
More patience then i've got:gaah:

SHIFTING

I had the exact same problem on my F3 about 3 weeks ago. Dealer determined that it was a reverse actuator switch. It is not listed by that name in the BRP shop manual. They list it as a solenoid switch.

Chuck, when they fixed your grenaded front pulley did they go through the transmission? Could there have been some internal damage?

:agree: I'm also wondering if while putting things back together: a step got missed, or a part got knocked around a bit...

Don't...

As a brand new F3 owner, I get really concerned when I read stuff like this.

This you should look at as informational but never as it will, is gonna happen to me, or your doomed...How and why these things happen can be as varied as how long your rear tire will last. How often and to how many, mostly very few . So relax...your not one of them..

Well, jkmspyder is spot on. It was the reverse actuator switch. Once again, DDS Motorsports in Utica, NY and BRP came thru with a two day turnaround!!! Couldn't ask for better service than that! Thumbs up to both of them, and thumbs up to jkmspyder for responding and helping me to get the ball rolling fast!

Good luck

I know, I have read a Lot about problems with the F3. You think after all the years they have been making Spyders, BRP would get it right. You really must be concerned when the warranty runs out. Unless you have a lot of $$$$$$ to spend. Good Luck.

Like cars some are better than others.

This is why we have warranties, and extended warranties.

When you have a good machine you hardly ever hear about how great a product it is.

I have a 2016 RT ltd awesome trike!!!!

When you have a problem with the bike take it to a good dealer to get repaired. Trike repaired Let the good times roll.
