There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. F3 with V-star 1300 Bags ??

Lastchance

New member
Ok had these V-Star 1300 bags on my Raider and they were in the garage just hanging around so I thought I would give them a shot on the F3, this is a temp install, looking for opinions ( up-down forward-back ) or just doesn't work. Thanks for your thoughts.

Look good to me. If you move them forward they will interfere with the passengers legs. Or possible yours. It's great to save money isn't it. Tom :spyder:

Looks great!!! Just have a passenger sit on the back n adjust the front to rear positioning to accommodate for leg room and getting on and off..

Thanks for the input looks like 1300 bags it will be, using the same Easy Brackets that were on my Raider just have to make an extension piece to mount the rear, front lined up right where you see it. I would like to go back an inch or so but that would mean re drilling the bags so where it is will be it.

F3 & Bags

Just an opinion!! Wow, do like the look and wish I had thought of it. I
like the height but would move them back to fit the flow of the rear fender.
Also, if you ride two up, moving them back would give your copilot a
little more room for the legs. Also, need to have some kind of a reflector
on bags to stay completely legal.

F3 and Bags

I was looking at your pics again and I think I would put
some type of adhesive backed foil on the bottom/leading
edge of the bag above the muffler. My bags have a reflective
foil and they are mounted just like yours above the muffler
and they still get pretty warm on road trips. Just a thought.
I do like the looks of the bags.
