• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 two up?

My wife loves it. She said it's better than the GS with ultimate seat and we haven't got the backrest yet.

We rode two up this afternoon to pick up my girlfriends own F3, just asked her what she thought. She doesn't like riding on the back, not so much because its uncomfortable, just no comfortable way to hold on.

Don't know..!!

don't have one..:roflblack: have seen more positive but mostly with backrests. Not a lot of data out there as yet many have them but have not had a chance to ryde them much and less double up. Soon you will have good info...

i have to change the rear spring before we go where to heavy for the f3 the shock goes right to the stopper and we havent left the garage soo no problem

no problem with the 2 rs-s before

Bottoming Out

I was wondering if there would be any bottoming out issues with a passenger. Probably depends upon the combined weight of the rider and his passenger though. I'm about 220 pounds and my wife is about 150. Does the Fox shock upgrade have an adjustable preload? I'm also thinking of adding saddlebags larger than the BRP design so more preload sounds like a good idea to me.

the maximum weight the bike is rated for loading is 438 pound include driver passenger and saddle bag

we are over this im 300 and my girl friend 180 :( i will change the spring and will be problem solved

i dont understand how my last year rs-s that is rated at 440 pound maximum weight on it has no problem of botoming out even at speed going tru bump and the f3 as sitting in the garage

I weigh 175, and ride solo, my f3 bottoms out on anything out on anything but small, smooth bumps. This is not a big complaint, but I am planning on replacing the rear shock.

? Huh ?

Ron, that does not sound right. I am 150, threw a 75# feed bag on the back, hit speed bumps @ 35 mph - got bumps, but no bottoming out. I did some casual testing and I don't think I even got an inch and a half travel in the shock, jumping up and down on the load. ( didn't fall off and hurt myself either! )

I don't know if it's bottoming out or not (can't see the shock while I'm driving), but mine is sure jarring if I hit a large bump or dip, and I am also considering replacing the rear shock. It rides like a super-stiff truck.
