• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 Top end power loss

Deleted - Bike working OK

Forgot the 1330 is low end torque, and I never had it above 4000 rpm's with the vibration issue. Now fixed I go over 4000 rpm in mid gears.

The old 990 high end torque only kicked in over 4500 rpm.

Big difference that I forgot about - sorry.

I've nto experienced this, but the issue raises a few questions.

Did it start after the idler was fitted and have you tried removing it and seeing if it stops?

Also on the new rear rim and tyre, is it an OEM tyre or other replacement? May have changed the gearing if it's a bigger size.

Is ECO Mode accidently turned on?

Doing a search on this site showed ECO sometimes affecting power.

I try it on and off with NO difference in performance.

PS - I believe ECO does not affect Manual models (for it does not shift - only show arrow suggesting when to shift.

It did start after the idler was installed. When I take it to the dealer, they may need to remove or adjust it, to fix it. I will do an update when fixed.

The new rim is Can Am, and the tire is a Kumho - same size as OEM, so this should NOT be a factor in this performance problem.

Interesting. ...

The idler would not affect the performance at all. The fact that it started doing this after installing it would make is suspect that something else may have been damaged or changed while installing it or the rear wheel. The new rim and tire being the same as oem would also not make a difference and something could have been damaged at installation. The ECO seems a good place to start be it is on or the sensors/wiring involved have been somehow compromised. Does seem a good idea to get her hooked up to BUDS and see if something pops up that could be causing this. :dontknow:

I am surprised you needed a new tire at 10k. I am well over that and stock rear tire still looking good.
