• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My F3 T USB connected to my I-phone had been working fine, but today when I plugged it in the screen said No device.
So I used the Aux. jack while I rode and when I got home I tried my Android tablet it too said no device.
Anybody have any advice ? or had the same thing happen.

There is a software update for the radios (and that includes the USB). I had similar issues with both my :spyder2: and the upgrade solved it.
Sorry for the delay in replying, I have been on an extended ride:doorag:.

try a different cable before going through all the software hassle. Most times its just a worn usb cable. Especially if it was working fine before.

How would one go about getting this software update? :sour:

Thnx

Any dealer should do it, and it Should be free of charge since it is a warranty item. It's no hassle and only takes a couple of minutes, you should be able to make an appointment and just wait for it to be done.

In both my cases the USB interface worked just fine, most of the time. Then it would act-up when it felt like it! It's an easy update that only takes a few minutes.
