F3-T Limited Screen Question

I have an orange ring around the outside of the screen. What does this mean? I didn't see any codes and it's not completely orange. I did have a bad battery that I replaced about a week ago then had some nice rides. It was working fine until today when I noticed the orange ring again. The cables are tight and it starts fine now. What would be the reason for this? Can this be because a saddlebag isn't closed all the way? I had a 2015 base F3 and never had any problems. I'm new to the touring model. This is a 2016 limited bought from a private owner

I picture of it would be good. If a bag is open it would say that on screen. You can open and close bags while running the engine and see if it's where you are seeing orange.

Turned the key on this morning and its clear. The next time I ride and it happens I'll take a pic

It could be the night lighting as Ann has suggested, as the evening approaches the dash lighting goes into night mode and the outer screen turns orange.

or it could be an alien invasion about to occur.

It was evening so that's possibly what the ring was. Or it might be why I found strange pods growing in my basement

That is night lighting or the light is not so bright.
