• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 Saddlebag Led Wireing

Ok, I don't have my F3 yet- a few more days. But I do have my add on pile accumulating in the garage. I am planning on adding the factory bags and replacing the stock reflectors with Custom Dynamics bright side LEDs that I hope to run as run/turn/brake lights. I'd like for them to be detachable with the bags.

Has anyone wired these yet and how? Custom Dynamics does not have F3 specific instructions that I have seen yet.

Thanks in advance!

I doubt that they'd have model specific instructions for this application.
As long as you've got the wiring basics down; that part is easy. The FUN part comes in the installation.
(use waterproof connectors)

Good luck, and we'll all want to see your results!

I will certainly try to document my projects and post the info to share. I am also wondering if it makes more sense to simply install these LEDs to the rear fender position rather than trying to do the bags with disconnects.

I am looking forward to this. I am trying to think of a way to put a splitter in so if I attach the bags I can get power to them. Of course... I have to wait until I actually get the bags to see what I have to deal with.
