• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 S Needing wheelchair Modifications

wheelchair mods

Eddy, you made the right call on this one I was not able to find his design at all
please note the post from Mike Arnt it looks like ISCI will be shipping the
Handbrake ne I have used a wheelchair for 43 years there have been some pretty slick mods for hanging a wheelchair on the side be mindful of adding to much weight on one side I have a TI Lite TX about 24 lbs I havent seen any comments about how much weight it takes to upset the balance of the bike
I do know that the wind can be an issue the folded up wheelchair is a fairly good size target for a cross wind I forgot to put the brake on the outside
wheel once and it was certainly faster than I had ever pushed it

I think so too. He went crazy on me for one reason or another. The way we are going to mount the chair to the bike is this. Two receptacles on the right side to slide my quick release axles into and the chair will hang off the chair's back axle on the other. Sort of like a gun holder. It will be a great set up and will distribute the weight to both sides. I will post all my pictures when it is done. If it turns out like I think, it will be the perfect set up for everyone with a rigid frame. No patents here, LOL, I want to help others where I can.
Thanks for the response.

Ric, I have ridden in the dirt since I was 5. I had an enduro when I was 16 but only rode that on streets when mom and dad were not home. This will be awesome!!! This RZR is the 900 pumped up. It belonged to a guy 4 hours from me that is in a chair too. Worked out perfect, hand controls already in it.

I have the F3 S sitting in my garage just waiting. I pet her daily. Thursday it goes to welder for mods. I am so excited to get out on the road.

I posted a new thread of the finished product but wanted to add it here too. I put the ISCI Hand Brake on as well as the mounts for my wheelchair. What a set up, easy to use all the way around.

I have only ridden it short distances without problems. My legs do have spasms so I do have to strap them down. I am going to put strap around leg which should hold foot on platform and keep legs secure to bike, no flopping. I am going to run the velcro strap around frame bar and my leg. I was told how to do this by Jim, another rider that is paralyzed. He also put a seat belt on around his waist to keep butt in seat on quick stops/maneuvers. I believe he ran the Velcro belt around passenger handles. He purchased the belts at Home Depot.
The ISCI Hand brake is awesome. Easy to install with footboards or pegs. I had to spend extra time getting it bled and rebled but seems good now. I have yet to test it at high speeds. A second pump and they are as solid as foot brake. One pump is almost as good but that second pump it locks em down. I'll have to get pictures of just the rack tomorrow.
