• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 risers

Anyone know of someplace that sells risers for the F3? I already have the short reach bars but little more would feel a lot better.

Thanks, Pat

I just replied again that I'm the same age as you and have had to cope with short arms all my life. These risers are just the ticket.

Hmmmmm. These might be just the ticket for me too, Patti. Thanks. I don't suffer from short arms syndrome, but I DO suffer from long leg syndrome and not being able to do a full lock turn as the bars hit my knees, even after rotating the standard bars up. Actually, I'm now wondering if I should maybe get the "short reach" bars and rotate THEM up. I don't suppose you know off hand what the inch difference between standard and short reach is, do you ?

Sorry to hijack your thread, Pat.

Sorry, Pete. I don't know the difference but I'm guessing it's a couple inches.

But with the risers, you could rotate them so they lift your handlebars instead of extending them toward you. Good luck.

If I can remember where I put my stock handlebars I'll measure them for you.

Thanks Pat, but don't go to any trouble. I'm sure I can find the info on the web. I was just being lazy in case someone knew the difference off hand. ;)

Pete I had the stock and short reach side by side and recall my surprise that the difference was about an inch and a bit - was surprised it wasn't more, but it made a huge difference (pun intended lol)
