• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I might have to. Here's my local dealer offer:
F3 S SE6
MSRP $22499
set up $1300
freight $1200
sales tax $2249 (9%)
$27,248
They offered me $9000 for my 2008 RS SE5 with 17000 miles on it and said that I have to come up with $17,000, so they "discounted" it by $1248
NO DEAL!

Check out iMotorsports, they are a sponser here. Also can check out Louis Powersports. Bought my RTS from there and had it shipped with good results. iMotorsports ships for free!

$1300 for set up ??? :hun: did they have a gun to your head ? and $1200 freight ? :hun: that's highway robbery... my Spyder's freight was $250 and NOTHING, ZERO, NADA - FOR SET UP.... the local dealer discounted my 2014 RT by more than $8000 off MSRP $3000 was a factory incentive... some dealers should be labeled "stealers"..

In California, they've got you by the S&Cs - you can't buy a new vehicle out of state. However, you might look at Tracy, Ukiah, or Tulare - some of the out of the way locations may not see many Spyder sales, and be willing to deal... At least beating the set up rubbish. None of our dealers up here charge that.

Set up and freight are usually a part of the "price inflation" game. Most dealers are not that obvious. I paid neither on any of my :spyder2:'s purchased. The trade seems all right though. I have seen 2008 advertised here for $7,500 or so.

There are so many games played on pricing and trades that I could write a book. Won't do it again on this thread though.
