• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. F3-P Bags

Has anyone got any ideas how I would get my hands on the bags and the top box they put on the F3-P police model? Have tried a couple of local dealers in my area and none of them seem to know, one did not even know they made a police model. I thought that I had heard that Givi was making them, so I tried them they do not even want to talk about a Spyder (something about a bad break up):banghead:

Thanks,
Doug

:D Steal a Police bike... :roflblack:

Sorry: I actually have no idea at all... :opps:

But I couldn't resist!!! :2thumbs:
Good luck with your search!

Another screw up by BRP.
They should have continued there relationship with GIVI.
Givi bags are a lot nicer and have more function than the BRP bags IMHO.

Have to agree...

:agree: They look just like them. The mounting brackets may be a challenge but totally doable....

I googled aluminum saddle bags and saw two that maybe it, one was Givi Trekker and the other was Moose Racing Expedition cases. Don't know what brackets would work for our F3S...
hope this helps

I think MachineGunner put a set of the Moose bags on his wife's F3 - you might look for his post about those bags. They looked very nice!

Moose Racing Expedition bags

I saw the pictures of Frenchie's saddlebags on the SOAR website. Ron made the mounting brackets and there is a top case as well. It looks like this set would be very durable (aluminum) and would hold a bunch. E-bay has them and the price looks great. I would have gotten a set if I didn't have the ones I already swapped over from my v-rod.

Well here it is

Turned out just as I thought it would. Don't think I was ready for how wide it turned out. Took it out for a short ride last night, you can sure tell they are back there but it was not bad. Total cost for the boxes and brackets was about $600 so not bad.

Now I am ready for a trip.
