• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. F3 Mirror Relocation

Here is my take on relocating the mirrors on a F3.

It cost me $85 for the mirrors, turn signals, two pieces of aluminum 1" diameter by 1" long, two new bolts, some spray paint and some solder. What ya think?

Thanks! Yeah I bought a large waterproof duffle bag that will be residing on the back seat on long trips and the factory mirrors were to low to see anything but the bag:sour:. Yes the two middle pic's are of the metal turn signals that I got on Ebay for $14.95 with free shipping:2thumbs:

Why not have both?

My mirrors have a HUGE blind spot that if I didn't turn my head to look before turning I would have hit many cars. I love my mirrors though because they show what is behind me so I do not want to get rid of them. So why not do both....... We all utilize BOTH the rear and side view mirrors when driving a car. Why not have a similar setup for the Spyder. I wonder if there is an aftermarket kit available to add mirrors to the grips. Maybe I'll do what you did.....excellent job I might add.

Hi Road Kill, I had both mirrors on at first but I just didn't care for the look so I
got the turn signals and put them on.

Thinking of the Lamonster but yes I must agree....will it look right or "mirrored to death"

Too expensive to try it and chuck it. I would like to see pictures of both on at the same time and make my decision. Thanks for the response.
