• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 Left Panel USB

Sorry these are sideways...can't seem to figure out how to get them rotated. :dontknow:

This started on another thread but I thought I'd start a new one so it doesn't get lost.

The USB connector is the one Can-Am sells.

As you can see, they installed it right into the left panel. I figured that if I didn't like it, replacing the left access panel wouldn't be a big expense...however, I love the placement and with the coiled cord (see pic) it works perfectly.

Kudos to Pam (Service Manager) at Maximum Power Sports in Peru, Indiana for having the initiative to come up with this idea.

That looks nice and clean, you won't have to worry about the cover blowing away either if it is not properly attached.
That side on the dealers demo flew off in the parking lot and went skidding upside down on the pavement as he was bringing it around for my test ride, glad it happened before I took over.
I connected mine underneath with the USB pigtail connected and wrapped the whole thing in elec. tape and tied it up.
The other end comes up and is tie wrapped to the left side cables under the handlebar.
The F-3 open design and access points sure make running the wires a lot easier now.

Yup where mine is and my dealer GAVE me a spare panel just in case I didn't like it. Lights up blue also.uploadfromtaptalk1425846122033.jpg

Are these the USB ports from BRP? I have one on order and want to mount it as you have done.

I'm sure (as you can see in other posts) that you can get a better price elsewhere, but I ordered mine from BRP and that is what you see installed.

Here is a short installation video suggestion for the 12v plug under passenger seat.

That's actually where I have my 12V power outlet routed as well. Fits perfectly!

Where did you get the rectangular USB? I've been looking for one of these with the cover for awhile.
