• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 leaking

I have a 2015 f3s....every once in a while I get a smell of smell of antifreeze on the right side of the bike and a little drop on the motor any ideas?

My 2015 F3 dropped a little coolant every once in a while when parked if it got very very cold (around zero) and then got warm in a short period of time (within 24hours). I just kept an eye on the coolant level. It never seem to move. So I never worried about it.

Well...

Start with checking that all the hoses are well connected, then check that the cap is on tight (older models had two detents and if they were on the first they would leak) then eyeball the coolant tank for cracks. Waterpump seals usually leak to the floor. Don't know if the new models have all odiker clamps as the older ones had at least one worm drive clamp that was sometimes loose and would leak....only other would be a head gasket leak but least likely....
could also be overfilled so check the level of coolant...

Looks like it is leaking around the waterpump.....I think I will try a new hose clamp....let you all know what I find out thanks

F-3 leak

These are not facts but questions or thoughts for consideration: Isn't there a "weep" hole on the water pump??? These start to allow leakage as the pump is failing don't they???

My F3S leaked a little in the same spot. I tightened up the water pump cover bolts a little bit and that solved it.
