F3 battery

Looking at an F3 to purchase. Salesman didn't have an answer as to how to hook up a battery tender. He said you have to pull out the frunk, that the battery was located behind it. I put the tender on every day, so that wouldn't be a good option. Anybody know?

depends on how you hook up. There are jumper points you can clip to for charging but if you want a pigtail connector the best is to hook it up directly to the battery. Many dealers are doing that at assembly. Then you just plug in...:thumbup:

Pull the frunk tub, install the pigtails on the battery and run the end into the frunk tub. Then just lift the lid and plug in.

Lack of a battery connection should not be the deal killer if you are interested in the F3.

As posted above, the pigtail assembly is an easy install. Dealer sounds lazy to me. My last two :ani29:'s cam with the pigtails installed.

My dealer installs the battery tender pig tail on all the :f_spider: he sells
If your dealer tells you no find a different dealer

HERE'S MINE....

bought this Cigar/USB adapter from dhgates.com for $34, connected it directly to the battery, and plug my Battery Tender into the cigar port... works PERFECT...
that's a radar detector on the left, and garage door opener on the right....

As others have said my dealer puts the pig tail on every spyder tgat tgey sell
