F3 base model can I add rear luggage rack

Just purchased a 2020 F3 base model. We added the passenger seat and backrest. Dealer told me that we cannot add a luggage rack. But when I look at the one on Slingmods, https://www.slingmods.com/can-am-spyder-f3-luggage-rack-baker-air-wings?vehicle=1 it looks very close to the setup we have. We went with the base model so we could customize it our out way. Many thanks for your thoughts and ideas.

Both Lamont (lamonstergarage.com) and Pierre (canamspyderaccessories.com) sell luggage racks. Pierre calls his a "Carry Bag Shelf"

Question for all that are researching racks. Does anyone know of a company that makes a rack that only covers the rear seat? Police model had them for sale once but no longer sell them.

I ordered the police rack but they were so cheaply made. The metal that they used was very thin. I did return it but was hit with a 20% restocking charge. Do not buy it if you find one.

RobinB which backrest did you buy? that will make a difference. That said, there are options out there - but some work with certain backrests and others don't. Sounds like the dealer is either ignorant of the after-market options - or just don't care - and only wants to sell the BRP branded stuff.

After talking to Jacob at Lamonster yesterday, I took a chance and order the Lamonster IPS PackRack. I'm going to try and fit it to my Can-Am (Shad) saddlebag rack equipped F3-S. I'll post updates next week once I get it.

I just installed one on my new F3S. I like it. Looks good and the installation was super easy.

Nice .. My install will/might be a bit more of a challenge as I have Shad saddlebag racks installed. I'll need to adjust/change hardware for fitment.

I did indeed. Again, I have saddlebag mounts installed, so mounting will require some part mods.

For $11.25 , I bought some very bright red LED lights for the bottom of the luggage rack. They are a run/brake light, but for now, I just wired up the running light to the accessory connection under the passenger seat. The brake light function is really bright. Also, for $6 (now $7.25), I added red strip LED lights underneath the rear fender, and wired them also to the accessory connection. For less than $20, I have some nice additional red lighting to the rear

I have the MBL innovations rack but it doesn’t look like they make it anymore - purchased from Value Accessories. They now sell the one from Spyderaccessories which looks like a decent option.
