• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 and the Bajaron swaybar upgrade

So i had my RS for 3 years and did the Bajaron swaybar. I was hoping I would not have to do it on the F3 but after 2k miles on it I could feel the need in the corners. Finally got it installed this weekend and I just wanted to be another F3 owner to say that it really makes an improvement. i can hit those corners much harder and not have to fight the line.

Ah ha...!!

sooo..your saying BajaRon's swaybar works on all the spyder models...:yes:glad your confirming what we suspected...:bowdown:it always will cause brp will not put one like that on a stock production model...too aggressive...

I had an RS and now an F3 and my friend has a ST and yes all these models handling was much improved with the upgraded swaybar.

Did anyone install the F3 sway bar themselves? Easy? Difficult? I'd appreciate any input. Thanx! :dontknow:

I did the sway and end-links.... extremely easy to do BUT you need the Spyder lifted about
22" at the front (Or however long that bar is, I can't remember). To pull the old bar, and install
the new, because of a mid-point bracket (you will see when you do it) there is not enough room
to angle the bar. At one point that bar is almost facing "due south" to remove.

And a word of caution. Lifting at that height is quite an extreme angle so please make sure you have
everything well WELL braced and balanced.

On the commentary side, the update was well worth it. Much less lean and the steering you will
feel is more responsive. (which makes sense)

What he said, I did the same:agree:

Thanks for the response, guys. I have the mechanical ability (I think) but I don't have the lift capability. Guess I will have to attend a rally or get my dealer to help me out. Appreciate the comments!
