• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

EZ Pass Mount

Really easy way to mount an EZ Pass. They come with industrial Velcro, & I just attached it to the inside of the frunk cover. No problem with toll areas reading through the fiberglass. 20 second install.WP_000088.jpg

Question: Can you have one E-Z Pass cover your Spyder, and a 4-wheeled vehicle (or two)?

Here in CT (NY EZ Pass) you get a motorcycle specific EZ Pass (it has an "M" on it). My trailer is linked to it as well. Doesn't work in a car to my knowledge.

Great idea . . . I just tossed mine into the mesh pouch in the back . . . but depending on what is in the frunk, it might block it . . . I'll have to move it and do what you did!

I have an Illinois EZ Pass and can register it to as many vehicles and different types as I want to. I live in Wisconsin and my vehicles have WI. registration. I have used the I pass in Ohio, N.Y. and N. J.,& Indiana.

Just be careful. During the heat of the summer, the inside of the frunk gets hot enough so that the adhesive lets go. You have to fish around on the bottom of your frunk for the EZPass and you wind up throwing it in the mesh compartment anyway.

In MA, each ez pass is assigned to a vehicle registration, I have separate ones on each vehicle.

Never have stuck one on the windscreen, in our cars and trucks there just in the glove box. On the spyder is in the frunk but behind the lining. Never had an issue with it not reading. They don't issue them for small trailers like the RT622, but the registration is registered on their system and they just bill it per axel. My understanding is that the trailer is not an issue around New England tolls, but is an issue in New York.

What is EZ Pass?

Dave ;)
Opposite of Hard Pass!!

Hard is dealing with a human at a toll booth. EZ is the computer reading your transponder and deducting charges from the credit you carry on your account, all the while not stopping to say "Good Morning" to the toll taker!

You are correct in that they bill per axle. No issue with my trailer in NY, except on All Parkways. No trailers allowed, period. My trailer is registered separately on my EZ pass account. No problem on the Garden State Parkway in NJ.

After a fruitless search on their Website; I called them...
Here in New York, you CAN mix vehicle types on one account.

The reason I have separate transponders for each vehicle is because I would always forget to move it from 1 vehicle to another. Senior moments kick in all too often.:yikes:

Here in Illinois we can have multiple vehicles on a EZ Pass. When I first got the bike I went through and it didn't read my EZ Pass, I stopped in at the local tollway office and they told me they have problems all the time with motorcycles. Their solution was to ensure I was registered on the site with updated info and leave the pass off. They just deduct the right amount from my account. Does not work outside Illinois so if I am traveling I velcro it inside the trunk.

E-Pass in Florida

Ive been having probs with detection of my E-Pass here in Florida on my 14... I had velcro the pass in the frunk on my 12 and it worked fine. My 14 I velcro it in the same spot and its not being detected. Anyone else have that problem?

I've used my transponder(s) interchangeably on multiple vehicles including 2,3, and 4 wheel with no problem - as long as all the vehicles are registered in the system. It used to be that there was a 1 tag per vehicle policy but that does not seem to be the case any longer.
