• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi Darren,
Those look REALLY cool on Sandra! :firstplace:
Question(s): Do they affect light ouput, and must you remove them for nighttime riding?

Hi Bob,
Thanks for putting my pic the right way up:thumbup:. When I switch full beam on the eyes magically disappear which is great and therefore don't affect light output and no need to remove for night time riding.

My dogs saw that on my computer and have not stopped barking at it :yikes::yikes::roflblack::roflblack:

Eye have...err...I have ordered a set, but haven't installed them yet. I got the cyborg ones in blue. I'm really wanting them to come out with a set for the RT.

Cyborg Eyes

Also ordered the Blue...If they don't look good, it will be the cheapest farkle I've thrown away. :opps:

What more can I say...:D

Does anyone have a link to where these are sold?
Or am I just not seeing it in here? :dontknow:

:agree: A set for the RTs might also look pretty cool!

:D Thanks, Darren! :2thumbs:
A question for you: Have you noticed any increase in the number of Spyders in and around your usual routes?
I'm just wondering if they're starting to become more popular in England...

How do those eye things work??

I dunno if it's just the heat here in Aus, or the fact that I ride with my lights on high beam during the day; but since my headlight 'glasses' have developed small but growing 'melt spots' where the light beam focusses on the polycarbonate lens cover, I really wouldn't be recommending anyone stick anything on the front of their headlights, no matter how 'cool' you might think those 'eyes' might be!! :yikes:

Check out the pic, I had to take it at a bit of an angle so you could get a good view of the melted section, but the 'distortion' you can see in the pic just to the left of the projector lens is the melting section of polycarbonate - that pic is from early on, it's grown somewhat since then & now feels like it's almost melted all the way thru the material, just in the coupla months I've been waiting for the Dealer & BRP to get the warranty stuff sorted!! :sour: (Parts to replace ALL my headlights are on their way tho!)

Both headlights have similar spots of melting polycarbonate, they first appeared (or at least I first noticed them) after spending most of a reasonably hot day riding quite slowly (about 5 hours @ 40 kph or less during the hottest part of a 45 deg C plus day!) while on a Toy Run just before last Christmas.... but seeing that happening on my headlights makes me more than just a little concerned about sticking anything onto the polycarbonate lens/front of the headlight lenses/covers, especially if you don't have low wattage lights (like LED's) &/or you ride with your lights on hi-beam a lot!!

Over to you all...
