• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Extending my Magical Wizard Spyder Kit 7 Color-Changing LED lights

I have the Magical Wizard Spyder Kit 7 Color-Changing LED System mounted on the bottom of my Spyder RT Limited. I would like to EXTEND this lighting back into the rear wheel well to give the rear wheel some lighting effects. I originally purchased these from ESI (http://www.esicycleproducts.com/spyderledaccentlighting.html) But I have research purchasing extensions from Custom Dynamics (http://www.customdynamics.com/wizard_lights_color_changing_led_accent_lights.htm) as well

Before I start this project, I have a few questions for the lighting gurus:

  • I am looking at the Flexible Maximum Magical Wizard Strips (30 LED Clusters Per Strip) which Custom Dynamics says is compatible with my Magical Wizard set up. Is it really compatible or do they just want the sale? I have purchased from them before and had a great experience, but you never know.
  • I am looking at the 30 light strip that attaches to my existing strips. Do I need one to light just over top or two to light both sides of the rear wheel?
  • How tough is this project? I am not what you would call mechanically inclined.
