• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Hello

I'm considering getting a 2016 f3 limited and was wondering what the concessous is about buying the 3 year extended warranty for an addition 1100 bucks. I'm sure this has been talked to death before but was looking for opinions

Thank you for your time

:ani29: can be expensive to fix if out of warranty. You may be able to do better than $1100 for the Best warranty. Berts in the NW usually has good prices for the warranty. It pays to shop around for the warranty. You do not have to buy it from the selling dealer. With a little information, you may be able to talk your selling dealer down a bit. There is a high mark up written in--so a deal on the price is not going to hurt the dealer to much.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAT

Are you sure you are getting a - WARRANTY - .....or are you getting a dealer SERVICE CONTRACT .....They are very different things.......On the warranty , from what I understand you already get two years from BRP automatically, and most of us got an extra one year as a BONUS........I bought an extension from Bert's Mega Mall on a B.E.S.T. warranty ( which is the BRP ext. ) for $ 450.00 for two years......Also you don't have to buy this warranty extension until JUST PRIOR TO THE CURRANT ONE EXPIRES.......Hope this explains it.......Mike :bbq:

Extended warranty YES

1100 bucks - HECK NO

You can buy the BRP BEST Extended Warranty from any dealer, not just your selling dealer. A number of the sponsoring dealers here at Spyderlovers will sell you the 3 year extension for well under $700. Perhaps your selling dealer will match that rather than loose the sale completely.

I purchased mine at Bert's Megamall after getting bids from several.

My three-year B.E.S.T. that I purchased from Berts, a SpyderLovers sponsor ( http://www.bertsmegamall.com/ ) paid for itself, just a few months after the basic BRP warranty expired. It is money well spent, but, as mentioned by others, shop around. Bryce, at Bert's, gave me a great price in 2013.

Cheap insurance...a must have

I am talking about the BEST/BRP extended warranty. Like others have said you can purchase from any Spyder dealer...my first RT I purchased from Bert's Mega Mall....purchased my current ryde from Pitbull and they met Bert's pricing so went with Pitbull. If I buy the F3t in a few days...extended warranty is a worthwhile extra for me. I am absolutely not mechanical and this sweet rydes are pricey to fix. Just how I do it...:yes:

Thanks for the reply. When shopping around. Do I need to physically visit the dealers or can they be out of state ect. Of those who have gotten the 3 year best warranty. Want would be a good price in your opinion? Thanks in adavance

No issue I purchased by placing phone calls to get the best price. Then called dealer back with CC# and done...
