I bought my 2012 rss in February 2013. The factory warrantee is up on February 2015. Can someone provide with what my options are in regards to what plans they offer, pricing I can expect, and do I have to purchase from my dealer?? I would like to educate myself before going down to my local dealer because I don't really trust him. Thank you in advance.

A three year extended warranty should cost you somewhere in the neighborhood of 750 - 800 dollars, you can buy it from any dealer as long as your original factory warranty is still in effect.

i personally would recommend Pitbull Powersports (The Spyderfest Sponsor) 1 417 863-1418 ask for Vanessa. your extended warranty will be good at any dealer.

If you decide to buy it from your dealer you do not have to pay more than these prices.

you can purchase reasonable plans from either pitbullpowersports or from Brice Page at burtsmegamall. anywhere from 1 to 3yr plans.
as long as you purchase before the factory warranty expires.you will find these dealers offer a way better price then most out there.

The extended is a must. I used it last year on my 2011 RS-S SE5 for shifting problems that would have cost me $1800.00+ if didn't have the warranty. I bought my extended warranty from my dealer when I bought my Spyder.
