I have the RPM I warranty and have had two exspensive repairs done. No deductable no problem at all and no hold ups.
I called Beth yesterday evening at Pitt Bulls. I got the 3-year extended warranty for $745 and we did all this over the phone. She is going to mail me all my information. Thank you guys for your help.:clap::clap:
Yes it is true. They don't advertise it though!
as far as i know as long as it is still in warranty you can buy extra but then I'm not for sure on after market warrantysSo a question. The used Sypder I am buying has a 3 year that is good till Jan 2016.
Can you extend that even more?
Reason I ask is I have seen used spyders for sale here in Ca. that advertise a 10 year with 8 still left on it!
Might I assume this is some other warrantee other than BEST?

My dealership told me that Interstate Extended Warranty is a 72 month bumper to bumper and can be used at any service provider. They said that it covers a lot more than BEST. Does anyone know anything about that?I'm considering an extended warranty, though, as a rule, I never get them. With the Spyder being more complex than most machines, I think it might be "warranted" to get.
But I've been learning about the options and would like your reactions.
I hear the BEST warranty has a $50 deductable - per problem. So, if you go to the dealer with 3 problems, the deductable would be $150. It also is only useable at Spyder dealers.
The finance guy at Reno's in Kansas City suggested a $950 3rd party warranty for 5 years (after the OEM warranty expires) that has no deductable and can be used at any service provider. He also says it cover some things the BEST warranty does not. He emailed the info on it, but I have not compared the coverages myself, yet.
My RTS' original warranty will expire in July '13. I don't really know how long I'll be keeping my Spyder. I can't afford to trade in the foreseeable future, and, so far, I have no reason or desire to do so. (I'm waiting for the "next big thing" that will make me want to upgrade.)
What do ya'll think?
PrairieSpyder;618482 I hear the BEST warranty has a $50 deductable - per problem. So said:In other words, they said that if you have a problem that is small and doesn't require immediate attention you may want to wait until there are two or three other things to take care of as well. They said that you would be charged the $50 deductible once for that visit no matter how many (covered) problems were repaired.
I haven't had to worry about this yet so I can't vouch for it, but the lady that told me was the owner's wife and handles all of the paperwork at the dealership so she SHOULD know.
Good luck!!
I purchased the Zurich Warranty for my 2011 RT. It has no deductible and was for 5 years from the end of factory warranty. It is good at any Motorcycle dealer. Paid $800. PM me if anybody wants more details.
The dealer can charge whatever they want, but here is some typical discounted pricing.
1 yrs.- $579 - After 60 days + $75 = $654
2 yrs.- $689 - After 60 days + $150 = $839
3 yrs.- $749 - After 60 days + $225 = $974
And I hope neither one of us ever have to use our Zurich warranty but I feel a lot better having it. That would mean things have gone very well for the both of us. Happy Ryding!!:yes:I also got the Zurich warranty
I purchased the Can-Am extended plan. It comes in two flavors, one with maintenance and once without. I was told that most maintenance item are not really covered by the maintenance plan and to just go with the regular service plan. You can get it from any dealer.
