• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

extend ryde time

seat

I was getting about 35 minutes driving time on my stock 2012RT-S SM5 seat before it got to where I had to stop due to pain (6'4" -- 226 lbs) -- read spyderlovers websight and bought an Ultimate Tall seat -- just road for two tank fulls of gas and had no issues until the last 30 minutes -- but that was due to being cold(55 degrees) and not dressed for it -- love the seat.

It bears repeating the seat pad I posted above is a memory foam/ gel seat and for the price does an amazing of keeping my hip and lower back pain free. It may not be the prettiest thing but it works and it is removable. It will also fit the passenger area.

Customizing one's ride to fit your physique and riding style is a good thing. The flip side is physical condition. Maybe you already have a good exercise regimen; if you don't......................... Flexing and stretching exercises are especially important, as properly flexible (for your age group) muscles will definitely contribute to riding comfort, especially on a ride with a sporty riding position. If you do decide to exercise more, use common sense and/or consult with your physician...................DON'T HURT YOURSELF! Why do you want to ride X number of miles before taking a break? I've never understood the "iron butt" thing. Kinda like doing anything else to yourself that's unpleasant. Yea, you can. But, why would you want to? Most travel organizations recommend getting out of your car at least once an hour for a 5 to 10 minute break. I don't know about yours, but my car is a bleep of a lot more comfortable to ride in than the Spider or my ZX. I still like getting out of it at least once an hour; not because I have to, but because I like the break in driving routine. The same holds true for riding the Spider or ZX. In any event.............good luck with your project!
