• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Exhaust

Ok.. R77 has a DB killer that makes it 80db compliant. I don't have any info as to the performance impact of the insert. Without insert they are saying its 100-102 DB, depending on who tested it.

Never thought of supertrapp. I had those on my 200x and 250r back in the day. They never let me down!

Thanks for all the info! I am looking for an exhaust in which I dont have to make any other mods beside installing the exhaust. Hindle seems to be about the only one.

straight pipe?

Anybody experimented with just a pipe like this? Maybe a chrome extension on the pipe for looks? From what I understand the cat is the main source of backpressure, so noise shouldn't be excessive. Also, since the cat is still in place the oxygen in the pipes is still being used to catalyze the exhaust, so no loud popping fireballs either. I know someone on here posted just running a small chrome extension right off the cat flange, this could be similar, but route the exhaust better? Cheap too.http://www.ebay.com/itm/130940964284?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I have a two brothers carbon-titanium exhaust with the power tip. No fuel controller, no pops on downshifting. The pipe without the power tip runs 97 db with it it runs 93 db (tested with sound level meter). I am using it on a 2012 RT with the cat still installed.

Using the Yoshi R77 on my 2012 Ltd I did not make any other mods and have no backfiring or decel popping... both with and without the Tip. When I replaced the RT airbox with the Kewl Intake Kit I was worried it might run too lean and start popping but that did not happen and the plugs both look good too. I have used Two Bros and Attitude pipes on the RT but like the Yoshi the best.

I have to admit Yoshi makes an exceptional exhaust. My HMF is like an old camping shotgun, reliable...well made, and effective given the price point...BUT the Yoshi R77 series is definitely the Sig/HK of the exhaust world. I don't know if I'd throw exhaust and an intake on without a fuel controller, but if it works...it works. :)

I've never seen mufflers from a super bike on a Spyder... Nice work.
