• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Exhaust wrap

Has anyone out there wrapped there exhaust to cut some of the heat off the plastics or will it make the bike heat up even more the pipes are right there at your knees hot hot. Trying to make it so I can ride more in this AZ heat. My boy told me when it gets wet the pipes will crack. Is this true.
Thank for any input

I have wrapped my headers all the way up to the block and down to the muffler. Seems to have leaned out the fuel mixture a little and after a change of spark plug to an iridium plug and some fresh coolant (Engine Ice) it's definitely running a little cooler. And it got pretty hot here last year (one day I rode it was 113 degrees).
