• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Exhaust Recommendations-no 2 Bros

I have the Corbin Saddlebags and the stock exhaust had to be moved down a bit in order to accommodate. It looks good but I need a different sound. I can't do dual pipes due to the limited space. I need something that I can mount straight like my stock pipes are now, but that gives me something other than the sewing machine hum I have now. Any suggestions?

Check out HMF engineering.
They have always made nice quad pipes and thier price cant be beat. I have one sitting at home to install once I get back off the boat, in about 3 weeks. I got mine from Rob at Coud motorsports, an ebay store located not far from my home.

There are many after-market exhausts the work with the ESI (No Magic Neon) 90 degree elbow. Perhaps you should ask Magic Man.

(I have the Micron and LOVE it...but some people think it's too loud...WHAT???!!!). :D

I know NOTHING about exhausts. :dontknow: I just know what I like to hear. Two Brothers sounds great to me, but I don't think I can use it. Now if Magic Man has an adapter to use..... that opens up a whole other thinking.

One of the members here did a "mufflectomy" on the stock muffler, he opened it up and removed most of the insides. Try PM'ing him. His user name is "sylblk".

:2thumbs: Get a Hindle sounds great and you pick up about 4-5 more HP. Easy bolt on .Looks good with the Corbins.

I am hoping to find some more Spyders at our Bikes, Blues, & BBQ event so I can hear some of the differences between brands. I didn't realize that I could use some of these other brands with the Corbin bags, but it is certainly good to know.

Also a big :2thumbs: for the contact on the mufflectomy. I might try that before I invest in another exhaust.

I have the Corbin bags too. I also have NMN's Micron and have received a number of compliments on how good it sounds. Deep throated but not obnoxiously loud.

The pic was taken while I was getting my Spyder painted and needed to mark the placement of a POW*MIA logo

widowmaker1,not to change the subject but do you have anymore pictures of your Spyder with the black Corbin bags on?I am getting ready to order mine and I thought I would like the black better than the silver. Are they flat black or glossy black?

Sounds like you're a good candidate for a Micron. You can get the muffler and the 90 to mount it to the Spyder from NoMagicNeon / ESI.

You could try the Leo Vince too. Direct bolt on. While it may not be needed, I plan to get the break-in done before I change the pipe.

I thought Micron was Kapoot! Did they come back?

I like my Yoshimura, the Hindle is nice too as are others mentioned. But if you want loud I'd say the Micron is the way to go.

Sounds good (I had one for awhile) if you like loud.
