Exhaust question - how will it sound without the cap on the baffle?

I put on the Baldwin Iron Works cat delete with the baffle and end cover on it.
It didn't add much to the noise level although it's easier to hear when one shifts, etc.
I'm wondering how the sound would change if I removed the cap at the end of the baffle and left the baffle in? I wouldn't mind a little extra noise but also leave for work at 530 - 6:00am and like my neighbors even though I live in a rural area. Then there is the "wife situation" and she likes to ride along with the Spyder but hated the 1600 Nomad's exhaust.

Only one solution, try it, does it sounds okay, you found the solution, does it sound too loud, you put the cap back...

I tried with no baffle or plug and it was too harsh for my taste. I put the baffle in without the plug and that reduced the volume and tone to what works for me. Louder than cat-in but quiet at low rpms. Never tried with the plug.

Springs are easy, use a paracord, or any kind of strong rope, make a handle from a broomstick, drill two holes in it, then knot the rope, make it long enough, and pull hard,

Prior to my TBR exhaust, I had a Baldwin Ironworks cat delete on. I ran it with baffle/no plug. Paul Baldwin actually recommends it this way.

I use a permutation of this method. Make a loop of paracord about 3 or 4 ft long. Laying on the ground, hook one end on the spring and put your foot through the other end and push with your foot. Your legs are a lot stronger than your arms.

I run my RLS cat delete with TBR exhaust combination using the supplied baffle and no tips. Plenty loud enough to set off car alarms, while maintaining a bit of back pressure to enhance torque and performance.
