• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Exhaust options for 2016RT

We've got a little over 1000 miles on our new 2016 RTs. My wife says it's too quiet....LOL..It is a bit quieter than the 2010 RT we had. So, what are our options to give it a bit more rumble? I don't wanna do the entire exhaust, so is there just a different muffler to bolt/slip on for a bit more tone/rumble?

We saw a 2016 RT special series at the dealer with the Akropovic exhaust. He let us fire it up...SOUNDED SWEET!

We have the Akrapovic on our STL with the v twin and love it. Saving for one for our 1330 RT-S now.

This past weekend I saw and heard a modified exhaust on a RT with a 1330. The design was not production and done by the owner maybe with help.

We run a stock muffler with a cat bypass pipe, and have now for several years.

Two Spyder RTs, two entirely different sounds to the exhaust.

The owner modified version kept the catalytic converter but ditched the oem muffler. Did not crawl under it or look close to see what was done, but the Spyder had a very deep tone to the exhaust compared to ours which is a bit more raspy at times.
