• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Exhaust Only!

I currently have a 2 bro's dual exhaust, juice box, green filter and o2 mod and would like any input on whether I can run just the exhaust without all the other stuff in place or if I really should run the juice box with the exhaust only. I don't really feel like tweaking this season. Is it safe to do that? Thanks for any input you vet's may have! I should add that I do have the P1X tips on the cans.

Although I have not heard of anybody having a motor "burn down" by not running a fuel control unit yet. I assure you, you'll find your Spyder will run worlds better if you take the time to install and adjust your Juice Box.

The Spyders are already "EPA lean" to start with, and the free flowing exhause and GREEN filter you have will only push it even leaner yet.

So in a nut shell, yes it will run without a Juice Box as many people were forced to run their free flowing exhausts for almost the whole first year until Two Bros came out with the Juice Box late in 08.

But if you take the time to install your Juice Boxs and adjust it, your Spyder will run way better for sure.

Everything is already installed and running good. But, I have noticed a drop in MPG's and the bike is definitely quirkier with all that stuff installed. I really wanted to know if it would be fine with the exhaust alone. No green filter and o'2 mod. Thanks again BTW, it has all current updates as of Nov' 2010

Yes, no and maybe.. every engine is a tad diffrent so no one can say if your engine will run lean or not. the best way is to check the color of the plug.. but that is not an exact sience... but if you wanna use your system fully you need the box..

:thumbup:im running the exjast and 02 and runs good, mucg better than when stock.but it ran ok with the exast only befor i put on the ot.but after the o2 was put on it iddled better.please dont grade my spelling.:2thumbs:

Have the dual Two Bros with stock air filter and installed the regular JB because of the backfire. Backfire cured and she runs great.

Thanks Joy! I am getting ready to start riding on nice days. It was in the upper 50's here today but had my daughter so couldn't go out. I was looking for some ideas and really don't want to uninstall the JB. So, I will leave it alone and tweak it a little to get it as close as possible. I may just replace the green filter with the factory one as I have needed to add a lot of fuel on the JB to get it right w/the green.
