• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

curious if anyone has modified the existing exhaust on the rt? on my bikes, I was able to drill a couple of holes in the exhaust via the tail pipe to get a little growl sound without having to remap, etc. just checking to see if anyone has messed with the spyder.

That sounds like what I did to my suzuki boulevard m109R. With all the computer electronic on the spyder though, I am afraid to mess with it. I hope someone on here has some good news for you though.

Thanks for the 1st class in Redneck Engineering 101.

Hey, I'm on board here. At least I was when I was like 15 years old.

I have modified my RS-S muffler. About the same for RT. Check my post for info. I do not know how to repost here. Sorry..

  1. Find the post you want to refer to, and click on the "post number" at the upper right corner.
  2. Right click on the post URL (web address) at the top of the screen in your browser web address field, and then select "Copy".
  3. Now in the new post you are drafting, place your curser where you want the new link in your message, or highlight the text for which you want to create a link.
  4. Click the "link" icon in the post tool bar.
  5. Paste the URL you just copied in step #2 into the "URL Field" in the pop-up window that appears.

HERE is an example for a link to the message you may have been referring to from another thread. (Underlining and blue text added for effect.)

Now you know how to insert a hyperlink to any previous forum post in a new post.
