Exhaust leak question

Hello All,
When I installed my Hindle exhaust a year or so ago, it did not need a gasket in between it and the angle pipe. The factory exhaust had a gasket to it but it did not fit on/in the Hindle when I changed them. Recently I noticed I have a leak. Any ideas what I should do. Thanks in advance for any input.

I had the problem of mine leaking right after I put it on. I didn't read all the threads back then about over tightening it and I egg shaped the pipe. I bought some Permatex Muffler sealer and sealed it up. That has been over a year ago and it is still holding. I check it periodically.
