There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Right side of our2012 RTS gets hot when the outdoor temps go over 90 and it emanates from the radiators exhaust which is close to the riders right foot. It's much like a blast furnace blowing on my right foot. I am sure this heat flows back to the passenger too. Doubt your bearings or brakes are the source. Have played with the idea of an increased flow fan with a thermal switch incorporated that would come on when this heat exceeds tolerable levels. This global warming thing sucks!

Have you jacked the rear of the bike up, and spun the wheel? That would give you an indication of the condition of the bearings...

Heat sources
The right side heat sources are the place to start your source. Front to back you have the radiator, engine, catalytic converter, exhaust pipe to muffler connection and the muffler it self.
