I'm not usually one to write reviews but, I felt compelled to share my recent service experience. I took my 2011 RSS into seminole powersports in Sanford, FL for it's 4500 mile service. The staff there are very polite and helpful. The service writer (Ben) asked if I had any other issues that I wanted checked. I mentioned that i had been noticing some vibration in the handlebars (reminiscent of my Harley Road King) between 60 and 65mph. Other than that no other problems. Ben wrote everything up then had the service Tech (Jason) come out and talk to me about the issue. After explaining to Jason what i had noticed I left the spyder there and returned home. I received a call later that afternoon from Jason informing me that the service was complete and that after test riding he confirmed the vibration in question several times. He called BRP and told them of the problem and performed all the checks that they suggested with no resolution finally BRP suggested that it could possibly be an imperfection in one of the front tires and they recommended replacing both front tires under warranty. I was shocked at this recommendation since the tires only had 4500 miles and showed no signs of unusual wear and had plenty of tread but far be it for me to argue with their decision. Jason put 2 new tires on the front re balanced and even replaced the silver wheel weights with black ones to match my rims. Problem solved, Tires and labor covered under warranty, I'm a happy camper. Kudos to BRP and Seminole Powersports for a job well done and a satisfied customer. When I picked the spyder up Jason greeted me again and went over all the service items replaced and updates performed. On a side note he mentioned some popping from the exhaust (Yoshi muffler) and suggested that down the road I might consider a power commander to improve performance and eliminate this popping. They sell, install and tune the PC for the spyder. I was shocked at this recommendation after having read so many horror stories on here about dealers refusing to do warranty work because aftermarket fuel managers were installed. I consider myself fortunate to have found such a satisfying dealership to take care of my spyder.
