• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Evoluzione Sway Bar - Info Needed

Well I ordered the Evoluzione Sway Bar and the Elka Shocks today. As soon as I get them installed, I'll give a report back. I called John from Elka direct and spoke to the needs of my being 6'5" and 260 lbs, plus the occasional 2 up ryding with my fiancée (pampchic43), and other gear. They are creating me a shock at 325 lbs per SqIn. Should be interesting going forward!

Hey Xena,

FYI, I am a very active 52 year old whom rides his Honda Valkyrie Interstate thru twisties that would make most folks hair to curl and fall out scraping the pegs as I go along (I would not say that is vegetating!). In addition, I have had it up to 140 mph, as well as my Spyder to 110 so far. My Ford F-150 Ford SuperCharged Harley-Davidson truck does 150 quite easily sitting in the leather bucket seats (no rockers here).

Lastly, BRP HAS CHANGED the RT Spyder for 2011 with stiffer shocks and suspension. Obviously, something is wrong here with the ryde. Motorcycles should "lean" into corners, Spyders should not "roll" into the corners as they have been well documented doing so!

Don't forget the Cuba, MO event ( Spyderfest ) in the last of Apr 2011. You will have, I am sure an opportunity for performance testing...as well as having a lot of FUN.:ohyea:

2009 RS

Got the bike back after the 6000 mile service + installation of EVO swaybar. Let's just say that that the Spyder now handles like it should.

Get one.

BTW, the Steibel horn is nice also.

:2thumbs: Good news! I can't wait to get my new suspension in there! I also have a Stebel Nautilus Air-horn I am going to install as well!

Great minds at work!!! :ohyea:
