• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ever mount a longer strut under the seat?

Most people unhook one end of the strut under the seat when working under the seat, so they can raise the seat further. So, why not just mount a longer strut on it so it will go up all the way?

Anybody ever try this?

You will have to change the attachment points. As a longer one will not allow the seat to go down all the way.

I thought about doing just that, but instead, I just went with the stronger aftermarket strut of the same size. I think it would work, but you just have to make sure of the length and the strength of compression. You can't go too much stronger because of the flimsy plastic seat pan.
