• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ever carried a whole pizza home on the Spyder?

I brought home a pizza on the Spyder a couple of weeks ago. I didn't have any thing to tie it down with so I just put it in the trunk of the RS. When I got home and opened the box, the pizza looked like it had been scraped off the floor in a food fight. I had the next pizza delivered.

We have done this a number of times at Mid-Ohio. Small pizza, and I use cargo straps (not with elastic, to secure the box to the rear seat. Easier on the RS than the RT. The pizza will tilt a bit, so the chees may slide to one side, and it will cool down much faster than in the car.

It's not delivery, it's DiGiorno!

Actually did a lot of traveling in my business career, and have always made a point of stopping at all the Mom & Pop pizza shops to sample their wares. One time when working in Western Pa., was driving over to see the horseshoe curve (any railfans?). I stopped in a small pizza shop by chance and the place had a very unique smell that I can only describe as old socks with a cheese chaser. Turns out they used an asiago cheese blend on their pizza and the taste was amazing. Their pies were rectangular and much larger than a normal pie. My work crews and I ate well that trip. There are lots of great stories and experiences and food that you can't get driving or riding the interstates which is why a little extra time spent on a trip to explore may be rewarding.

I knew you would come through!
Funny story about them...

Yes, I've done it a few times. Not driving ten miles. I just tie the box down on the seat behind me with some cord thru the passenger handles. Just watch the turns so things don't slide.

This is from my husband. He suggests hiring a "young ,shapely pizza girl, have her ride on the back seat and carry the pizza boxes for you." He only gets frozen pizza and now you know why. :spyder2:

Never with the Spyder, But all the time with my Tri Glide. The Pizza fits perfectly in the Tour-Pak.
Just have to corner easy with a Sicilian Pie back there, Or the cheese will end up on one side.:gaah:

Pizza Delivery

It is easy. Once you are in gear hold pizza in your left hand. When you need to shift move to your right hand. Back and forth until you reach speed. SM models not recomended :D. I would like to video this when you try!!!:D
