There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The nanny may not be an event recorder in the usual sense of the term, but it is a data recorder. I was at the dealer the other day and was talking to the service tech. He connected up the BUDS to my '13 RT. Lo and behold, one of the pages he brought up is a histogram of engine rpm, with bars for 0 - 2000, 2000 - 4000, 4000 - 6000, 6000 - 8000, and over 8000 rpm. He was very glad to see my high bar in the 4 - 6k range, and low bar in the two ranges below 4k. He said one owner came in with a burned out clutch. His graph showed mostly under 4000 rpm. No wonder. The tech didn't say, but I'll bet that was not a warranty covered repair! So be aware, the tech knows if you're running your bike at the right engine speeds.
